Kevin Wai is closely connected to the short freestyle clip that became the visual reference for the trend. Searches for Kevin Way and Kevincito usually point to the same creator context.
The creator context
The clip gained attention because it captured a live performance with a strong rhythm and a memorable camera angle. The creator and the original moment are part of the trend's identity.
Why the AI versions appeared
Once the clip became a recognizable format, viewers wanted to see themselves or their friends in the same performance. A reference-video model makes that possible without filming a new scene.
Respect the original rights
The source footage, music, and likeness may be protected. A fan-made tool should not claim official affiliation, and a public template needs permission from the rights holders.
